A fine Qing Dynasty cream and white Jade Carving of a dog. The dog is in a recumbent position with its front paws out stretched and back tucked beneath its body. Ribs well defined with a tail curling round over the back leg. Its head turned to one side with a well defined snout and ears laid flat to the head. The stone is of rich cream and white color with some darker inclusion, and has a satiny polish. Beautifully carved and very tactile. It measures approximately 5.2cm length x 2.6cm high.
