A large and substantial 8 pound piece that dates to the 1920s, the vase stands approximately 11.5″ on an attached carved Chinese Chippendale plinth style base measuring 4.25″ in diameter, and rises to a ridged scalloped lip with a 7.5 opening. In overall very good condition, there are a couple of hairlines that have formed at the lip and on one of the elephant masks, as well as expected light staining to the interior, none of which detract from the integrity of the piece or are distracting unless intentionally looking for them. Otherwise there are no cracks, chips, prior repairs, or compromising imperfections found.
