Quite intricately detailed carving of Hotei on jadeite or jade-like (nephrite) hardstone, quite unique in color, primarily a very pale celadon, yet thicker parts and different lighting angles appear more jade – just a stunning piece of Chinese craftsmanship. In excellent vintage condition, with no damage at all, but it is an antique and a hand carving, so, naturally expect some uniqueness in texture which does not detract.
