This listing is for an adorable small hand carved polished hard stone Chinese carving depicting a large pea pod with two birds at base. The stone has an opaque grayish-white coloration with carnelian russet colored striations and excellent carved details. The stone may be jade/jadeite, however, we are uncertain so please use your judgment regarding type of stone. Measures 4 1/4″ high, 3 1/2″ wide and 2 deep. This nice carving is in excellent Estate condition with no noted flaws. We are definitely not experts on Asian antiques or collectibles, so please use your own judgment in determining stone and age.
