Exquisite antique pair of hand carved, solid light green and white Jade Foo or Lion dogs. They are used for protection of the owner and their family. They also ward off evil spirits. Both have open mouths with the male having sharp pronounced teeth. Female has teeth too, just not as mean. They are both intricately carved from 1 piece of jade and both have magnificent details. Each sits on a carved wood stand with outwardly turned feet. There is no damage to either dog. No nicks, chips, or cracks. No scratches or gouges. No stains or discoloration. Wood stands are not chipped, cracked, or scratched. Artist signed on bottoms in red. They stand approximately 7 3/4″ in height without the stands and approximately 8 3/4″ on the stands.
