If you shake the bird you can hear a jingling sound from a few tiny particles sand? The bird has “CHINA” impressed on the bottom of both feet. The stand has carved feet for the bird to stand in and there is a twisted nail to help the bird stand more securely. The wood stand is in nice condition but has some wear to the stained finish as can be seen in the pictures. The stand has “CHINA” carved into the bottom twice. 19th Century Chinese White Jade Carved Dragon Belt Hook Handle with Enamel Iron Marked “China”. The iron is 2.1 inches (5.3 cm) by 6 inches (15.2 cm) wide. The jade is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) in length by 0.9 inch (2.3 cm) wide. It is 146.4 gram. It has surface wears and scratches and tarnished metal. The iron has a chip to the enamel. The jade belt hook has flea bite chips at the edges and inclusions (as seen in the photos). Some of the photos were taken under the sun.
