Fine Old Chinese Carved Pendant in the Form of a Plaque. Up for your consideration please find this wonderful jade piece that was part of a larger collection that was evaluated at the 2018 San Diego Antiques Roadshow. This piece is believed to be a fine 19th Century item. The carving is finely detailed when viewed close up or at the right angle. It depicts rolling waves, fish, clouds and pagoda-like structures. This jade piece is of a creamy color splashed with veins and hints of russet. It has a small hole so it can be used as a pendant, an amulet, or even the centerpiece of a beautiful jade necklace. It is relatively heavy and slightly larger than 2″ x 1″ inches. (Sorry, I lost exact measurements and it is all boxed up). This jade piece is the real deal and not a modern carving.
