On offer is the exquisite Vintage Chinese Two Sided Hand Carved Translucent Jade Pendant featuring two superbly carved Phoenix birds with florals and leaves cascading across the design. The plaque edges are carved into a curved border. The two Phoenix birds are facing each other with well carved detailing that shows all the feathers on the birds. The reverse side is smooth and pierced to allow the three dimensional effect of this carving to be shown to full effect. This is a large pendant measuring 2.5″ wide x 1.75″ tall. Weight 29.1 grams. Nicely polished so it glows and has achieved a lustrous deep pearly patina as conducive to antique or vintage Jade. In excellent condition with no damage or repairs.
