Antique Chinese cloisonne pigeon figurine with custom carved wooden stand. Dates from the late 1800s to 1920s period or possibly even earlier. The bird is in overall excellent condition. If you shake the bird you can hear a jingling sound from a few tiny particles sand? The bird has “CHINA” impressed on the bottom of both feet. The stand has carved feet for the bird to stand in and there is a twisted nail to help the bird stand more securely. The wood stand is in nice condition but has some wear to the stained finish as can be seen in the pictures. The stand has “CHINA” carved into the bottom twice. The bird measures approximately 6.5 inches high, 7.5 inches long, 3 inches wide. The wooden stand measures approximately 1.5 inches high 6.5 inches long, 3 inches wide.
